Welcome to the Milltown Sailing Association

The Milltown Sailing Association has been active in the Everett area for over 25 years. We are a family friendly organization offering active racing, and cruising programs, as well as fun group social activities.  The club is located in the largest marina on the West Coast.  The Port of Everett provides easy access to Possession Sound and Puget Sound for racing and cruising.

 

Our racing program is year-round. Races are every other Sunday in the fall and winter and every other Saturday in the spring. In the summer we sponsor our much-loved “Log Dodge” races every Friday evening, where everyone is welcome and the competition is not about who can win, but who can have the most fun!  You don’t have to be a member to compete in any of the Milltown races. During the summer, the cooling breeze typically comes down Saratoga Passage and provides a steady and sometimes strong, northwesterly breeze. During the other seasons, winds can vary in direction and intensity.  It is not uncommon to see wildlife, even whales, enjoy the fruits of the sound. Come out and enjoy!

 

Each month the club sponsors a cruise to a nearby port. The cruises are great family affairs with themes, games and fun giveaways.  Our monthly member meetings are on the second Wednesday at our clubhouse in the north marina at the Everett waterfront and all are welcome.  Many of the meetings feature guest speakers on all subjects marine.  Even if you don’t have a boat, you are welcome to join our  club and enjoy the friendship and boating experiences on member’s boats.

 

In addition please feel free to contact any of our officers or members and we’re always looking for new faces to join the many committees we have!  Both boat owners and non-owners are welcome, and while it is primarily an organization of sailors, power boat owners are also welcome. 

 

Looking for a place to gather in Snohomish County? Our clubhouse in Everett is available to individuals or groups who need to rent a hall for parties, meetings, receptions, banquets, or classes.
