Please volunteer to committee on those days that are available.  See calendar and go to the Committee Sign up link.  Note: The race captain will confirm via e-mail and note it on the calendar. 

Also please complete the registration form for 2012.  A form fillable link is available for those who have the software to use it.  Otherwise, please print it out and mail it to me or scan it and email it to me.

Winter Series – Five buoy races in the Possession Sound area. Races start at noon and have, typically, a three hour time limit with the possibility of a 30 minute extension. Races are scheduled for January 8 & 22, February 5 & 19, and March 4. Class breaks and multiple starts are to be determined in the specific race instructions. Skipper’s meeting at 10:00am January 8.

Spring Regatta – A one day event of three buoy races using both fixed and temporary marks for potential courses. Skipper’s meeting at 8:00 am in the Milltown clubhouse. First start is scheduled for 10:00 am on March 24. Class breaks and multiple starts are to be determined in the specific race instructions.

Mid-distance Series – Five longer buoy races in the Possession Sound area with a 6 to 8 hour time limit. Scheduled for March 31, April 14 & 28, May 19, and June 2nd. Skipper’s meetings 8:00 am in the Milltown clubhouse March 31.

Log Dodge – Friday evening race series beginning June 8 and continuing through the end of August. This is a two series set of races, which are typically broken into two classes and two starts, both beginning in the river at Y mark (adjacent to the Everett Yacht Club). Specific race instructions will provide course options and time limits. Starts at 6:30 pm. Awards and burgers and dogs at the clubhouse following the races.

Single Handed/Double Handed – Late Spring buoy race in the Possession Sound area. Race starts at 1:00 and has typically a three hour time limit. Race is not scheduled this year.

Fall Regatta – A one day event of three buoy races using both fixed and temporary marks for potential courses. Skipper’s meeting at 8:00 am in the Milltown clubhouse. First start is scheduled for 10:00 am Sep 15. Class breaks and multiple starts are to be determined in the specific race instructions.

Autumn Series – Five buoy races in the Possession Sound area. Races start at noon and have, typically, a three hour time limit with the possibility of a 30 minute extension. Races are scheduled for September 23, October 14 & 21, and November 4 & 18. Class breaks and multiple starts are to be determined in the specific race instructions.

Milltown members also actively campaign in other Puget Sound regional events including NOODs, ‘Round Whidbey, Swiftsure, Whidbey Island Race week, Tri-Island Series, PITCH, Foul Weather Bluff, PSSC, J-Boat, and T-Bird class races. Milltown is a co-sponsor of the Puget Sound North Sound Series races and will host a reception on June 3.
