2022 MESSAGE FROM OUR CRUISE CAPTAINS

We hope you had relaxing holidays and are ready to start planning your boating cruises for 2022. We have attached a list of the planned Milltown Cruises with dates and destinations for 2022. Hopefully you will be able to join us for some or maybe all of the fun adventures that will come with this new year.

Milltown Cruises are open to all members of Milltown, even if you don't have a boat. For example, for the Kingston cruises in April and October you can walk onto the ferry in Edmonds and arrive right at the Kingston Marina. And some marinas are just a car ride away, such as the cruises to Langley in May and November and the Oak Harbor cruise in September.

We will try to send an email at least a month before each cruise to remind people of the date and destination, along with instructions for boaters about how to sign up for a slip. Some marinas want boaters to call them directly to reserve a slip, and some marinas prefer to have us (your cruising captains) gather the boaters information. Every cruise has a fun theme chosen by our wonderfully creative volunteer hosts.

Important Information!! We want to highlight 2 cruises;

  • We are hoping to go to Canada for the Progressive Cruise in July, so if you plan to go you need to make sure your passport is current. We have heard it may take several months to renew passports

  • If you plan to take your boat to the Oak Harbor cruise on Sept 2-5 you need to make reservations now. We have 16 slips reserved until January 30th. To reserve a slip you need to call the Oak Harbor Marina at 360-279-4575. Tell them you are with the Milltown Sailing Association and would like to reserve a slip for the Labor Day weekend. They will ask for your boat name, skipper's name, contact information and a non-refundable down payment for the first night. They will have you pay the other 2 days when you check-in.

Cruising is a wonderful way to meet people and learn about the wonderful boating opportunities we have here in the Salish Sea.

Remember.........Milltown Sailing...Where Fun is a Cruise Away!!!!

See you on the water, or at the clubhouse for other club activities,
