Milltown Christmas Party

6:00 pm Happy Hour

7:00 pm Potluck Dinner

Followed by Santa’s arrival and

Round Robin Gift Exchange

It’s that time again!  Let’s celebrate the holidays with a great get-together at our Milltown Christmas Party.  This year Santa will be making an appearance so bring your grandchildren, your own young kids if you have them or borrow a couple.  You will want to bring a wrapped gift for the children you are bringing with their name on the gift. The recommendation is to bring a gift that can be entertaining to the child during the white elephant gift exchange.  This is an old Milltown tradition we are trying again.

We will have a banquet permit so there will not be alcohol for sale.  You can bring your own holiday cheer of wine or beer or grog or favorite beverage

For the dinner we ask you to bring one of the following:

·       Main dishes

·       Salads

·       Vegetable dishes

·       Desserts

For the gift exchange bring a wrapped gift of $25 or less or an unusual, wrapped “white elephant”.  One gift per person for those who want to participate. You will be able to “steal” gifts and the rules will be stated before we start.  This has always been an amusing and fun part of the Christmas Party!

Since the party will take the place of the December general meeting, we will also be casting paper ballots for election of officers that night.  Your vote counts!

We also need a few to stay and help with the clean-up.  Please contact Pam Dittrich  at this email if you will be able to pitch to do a small part to make this party a success.  It’s the participation that makes the work go fast and the camaraderie grow.  Thanks in advance!

We will be decorating the clubhouse at 4pm.  All volunteers welcome!
