Cruise Report

Port Ludlow Marina

March 19-20, 2011

We had a great turnout for the March Cruise to Port Ludlow Marina considering the weather has been less than balmy.  Saturday, however, was marvelous as we basked in the glow of the sun for the afternoon in the picturesque bay that is Port Ludlow.  

The Port Ludlow Yacht Club extended an invitation to come to their happy hour at their new clubhouse and we all attended.  They were gracious hosts. Our potluck feast included 4 versions corned beef and cabbage to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.  You just can’t have enough of that!  Around the bonfire our Cruise Host, Shaun Wurzner, treated us to a rousing Sailors Questionnaire game.  Unfortunately, it was too dark to read them but Shaun came up with a way to determine a winner to give the prize of a bottle of Baileys to.  I believe that bottle graced several of our coffee cups the next morning!
