As the year winds to an end I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy holiday season and best wishes for the New Year.
 
The Women’s Boating Seminar that I started 15 years ago will be held on February 18, 2012 and covers several new topics of interest for all levels of experience in both sail and power.  Gift certificates are available – details at www.latitudesailingassoc.org.
 
The Perry Design Rendezvous will take place on August 18-20 at Pt. Ludlow.  This year’s event was difficult since Bob and Jill Perry’s son Spike passed away in April and had planned on getting married at the event.  Perry boat owners came together and were able to help get through the weekend and even have fun.  It truly felt like a close knit group and the Perry family appreciated everyone’s support during such a difficult time.
 
On a brighter note Bob Perry has designed the deck for the new Outbound Voyager on Outbound’s proven Carl Schumacher hull.  The Voyager will have the same incredible comfort, stowage, tankage and performance that make Outbound owners the envy of every anchorage ...and now with panoramic views from a raised salon.  I am excited to be the Outbound representative for the Pacific Northwest, so don’t hesitate to give me a call if you would like to order one for that special Christsmas gift.
